Our story
\nMuinasm\u00f6\u00f6bel is an Estonian handcrafted furniture manufacturer since 2009.<\/p>\n

The company’s face is shaped by recycling old wooden material<\/strong> and following an animistic philosophy. The creator and keeper of the vision of antique furniture is Merike Erkmaa.<\/p>\n

Over time, we have mostly made custom-made kitchen furniture. The rustic style works well for log houses and a more feminine, gentler vintage style suits for townhouses.<\/p>\n

In 2014, the wooden tableware brand EGG was born. EGG reflects people’s desire to reach their primal nature, to enjoy life and be open to new experiences.
\nThe LOG series, which is inspired from a log of wood and the old Estonian peasant wisdom of using wood in its natural form, was nominated for the Estonian Design Award and was selected for the Estonian Design yearbook 2013-2014. With the same series, we also participated in the business idea competition on the ETV program AJUJAHT, where we reached the TOP 20.<\/p>\n

In 2022, from the great love of animals and a practical need, we created series of serving trays made of recycled wood for pets: Lihtsalt Muri and Raudne Muri. They are distinctive products for a stylish and intelligent dog.<\/p>\n
